Eating Beauty
Your mother always told you that beauty comes from the inside. Now,
companies are offering a variety of innovative new beauty foods and
drinks that take this statement literally. As consumers continue to
search for the fountain of youth, they not only turn to beauty creams,
lotions and other topical applications, but also to food and drinks said
to offer beauty benefits. This presentation will explore how beauty
foods and drinks have evolved over time and from one part of the world
to another. It also will explore some of the key ingredients, claims and
companies involved.
Speaker:
Lynn Dornblaser has almost 20
years of experience tracking and analyzing new product trends, and
brings to the Global New Products Database (GNPD) and to Mintel
International Group a unique perspective on the marketplace and future
new product development. Based in Chicago as director of Mintel’s Custom
Solutions Group, Dornblaser is responsible for answering clients’ needs
for new product expert knowledge. She also is closely involved in the
continued development of the GNPD. Dornblaser has been quoted in
numerous trade publications and has been quoted by major U.S. news
organizations, including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today,
The New York Times and CNN. She also has spoken to a
number of industry groups and at sales meetings and product ideation
meetings for a variety of consumer packaged goods companies.
