Tailored Purification of Botanical Extracts Using Vibrating Membrane Technology
A proprietary “vibrating membrane”
micro-filtration provides major benefits in tailoring botanical extract
product characteristics. The patented vibratory membrane filtration
system utilizes membrane pore size less than 0.05 um. This innovative
technology allows our products to achieve a lighter color, higher purity
and extremely high water solubility, and are free of solvent residue and
micro-organism contamination. The system also allows for room
temperature concentration of an intermediate aqueous botanical extract
instead of heat concentration, which may adversely affect bioactive
components. Integrated with resin adsorption technology, our technology
can provide selective standardization of bioactive constituents and may
be applied in production of a wide range of botanical extracts.
