TIC Gums recently introduced a line of “super-dispersible” gums, gum
blends and an accompanying quick-dispersion process called FASTir™. When
produced using FASTir technology, hard-to-disperse gums like xanthan,
high viscosity CMC, and carrageenan, among others, can now be dispersed
at a low-shear mixing condition without lumping - achieving at least 80
percent viscosity within three to five minutes.
